Papa Gino's Commercial

In early July, Lisa shot a commercial for Papa Gino's Pizza.  In the ad, Lisa plays a mom of three boys that just won't sit still long enough to drive and get pizza.  Hmm...  maybe Papa Gino's should deliver....  Watch for it in August!

2008 Winter/Spring Workshops

Improvisation!

Improvisation is a vital piece of the acting puzzle.  In this workshop, students will learn to master the art of improvisation and spontaneous expression.  This workshop will help students trust their creative impulse in a group of supportive peers.  Lisa will encourage students to take risks, enjoy experimentation, and build a stronger confidence in their individual choices.  The class will consist of improvisation scenes, character building, and yes, those fabulous improvisation games!

Ages 8-12                 Sunday, February 10, 1:00-4:00pm.

Ages 13-18            Sunday, March 9, 1:00-4:00pm.

Ready, Set, Audition!

Auditioning is a lot easier if you are prepared!  Don’t wait until just before the audition to get ready.  Start to prepare now with this auditioning workshop geared to help you be prepared for any audition. Students will create or add to an “audition binder” and will learn what should and shouldn’t be included.  Lisa will share tips on how to handle nerves, what material to choose for specific types of auditions, what to wear, what to say, etc.  Each student will also have the opportunity to work on old and new material.  It’s a great way for students to test out material in a supportive environment and learn new material for that next audition.  This class is appropriate for all levels of experience.  Please bring a binder and any songs/monologues that you either have performed or are interested in performing.

Ages 8-12              Sunday, March 16, 1:00-4:00pm.

Ages 13-18            Sunday, April 6, 1:00-4:00pm.

Where:  Fellowship Hall, Lutheran Church of Framingham, 17 Edgell Road, Framingham

Fee:  $75 per workshop

There will be a maximum of 12 students per workshop.  Please be aware that registration is on a first come, first serve basis.  Your space in the workshop will only be secure when you have submitted full payment.

Students should dress comfortably and in layers.  Please bring water and a snack.  For the audition class, please bring a binder, song/monologue materials, pencil.
